Disruption Event Characterization and Forecasting in Tokamaks
John Berkery,S.A. Sabbagh,Young-Seok Park,J. H. Ahn,Y. Jiang,J.D. Riquezes,Stefan Gerhardt,Clayton E. Myers +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the Disruption Event Characterization and Forecasting Code (DECAF) is used to fully automate analysis of tokamak data to determine chains of events that lead to disruptions and forecast their evolution allowing sufficient time for mitigation or full avoidance.

Kinetic equilibrium reconstruction and the impact on stability analysis of KSTAR plasmas
Y. Jiang,S.A. Sabbagh,Yoon Soo Park,John Berkery,Jae Heon Ahn,J.D. Riquezes,J.G. Bak,Won-Ha Ko,Jinseok Ko,Jongha Lee,S.W. Yoon,Alan H. Glasser,Zhirui Wang +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, high fidelity kinetic plasma equilibrium reconstructions are provided for accurate stability and disruption prediction analyses to support continuous operation of high beta tokamak plasmas in the KSTAR device.
