TL;DR: In this article, cosmological constraints from a joint analysis of type Ia supernova (SN Ia) observations obtained by the SDSS-II and SNLS collaborations are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photometric classification of type Ia supernovae in the SuperNova Legacy Survey with supervised learning
Anais Möller,Anais Möller,V. Ruhlmann-Kleider,C. Leloup,J. Neveu,Nathalie Palanque-Delabrouille,Jeffrey A. Rich,Raymond G. Carlberg,C. Lidman,C. Lidman,Chris Pritchet +10 more
TL;DR: The feasibility of machine learning classification in a high-$z SN survey with application to real SN data is demonstrated and the differences between classifying simulated SNe, and real SN survey data are investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Experimental constraints on the uncoupled Galileon model from SNLS3 data and other cosmological probes
J. Neveu,V. Ruhlmann-Kleider,A. Conley,Nathalie Palanque-Delabrouille,Pierre Astier,Julien Guy,E. Babichev +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors derived a new definition of the Galileon parameters, which allowed them to avoid having to choose initial conditions for the field and showed that the model remains consistent with current observations and is still competitive with the ΛCDM model, contrary to what was concluded in recent publications.

Experimental constraints on the uncoupled Galileon model from SNLS3 data and other cosmological probes
J. Neveu,V. Ruhlmann-Kleider,A. Conley,Nathalie Palanque-Delabrouille,Pierre Astier,Julien Guy,E. Babichev +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived a new definition of the Galileon parameters that allowed them to avoid having to choose initial conditions for the field, and then test this model against precise measurements of the cosmological distances and the rate of growth of cosmic structures.
