Christina S. Gamba,Marcia L. Stefanick,James M. Shikany,Joseph C. Larson,Eleni Linos,Stacy T. Sims,James R. Marshall,Linda Van Horn,Nathalie C. Zeitouni,Jean Y. Tang +9 more
TL;DR: In this large randomized trial, a low-fat dietary pattern did not affect overall incidence of NMSC or melanoma, but an interaction between baseline fat intake and dietary intervention on melanoma risk warrants further investigation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Karen Y. Gregory-Mercado,Lisa K. Staten,Cathleen Gillespie,James Ranger-Moore,Cynthia A. Thomson,Anna R. Giuliano,Julie C. Will,Earl S. Ford,James R. Marshall +8 more
TL;DR: Mexican American women had overall lower micronutrient intakes compared with uninsured non-Hispanic white older women; this difference may be attributed to their underreporting intake.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anita Koushik,Molin Wang,Molin Wang,Kristin E. Anderson,Piet A. van den Brandt,Tess V. Clendenen,A. Heather Eliassen,A. Heather Eliassen,Jo L. Freudenheim,Jeanine M. Tworoger,Ying Wang,Alicja Wolk,Anne Zeleniuch-Jacquotte,Stephanie A. Smith-Warner +23 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that consumption of vitamins A, C, and E and folate during adulthood does not play a major role in ovarian cancer risk, and dietary and total intakes of each vitamin were not significantly associated with ovarian cancerrisk.
Journal ArticleDOI
Exposure to breastmilk in infancy and the risk of breast cancer
Jo L. Freudenheim,James R. Marshall,Saxon Graham,Rosemary Laughlin,John E. Vena,Elisa V. Bandera,Paola Muti,Mya Swanson,Takuma Nemoto +8 more
TL;DR: Findings indicate that early nutriture in general and bottle feeding in particular may relate to breast cancer development in adult-hood.
Journal ArticleDOI
