TL;DR: A first-in-man single and multiple dose administration clinical study has been initiated in AD patients based on the improved efficacy/safety profile in non-clinical models of SAR228810, a humanized monoclonal antibody with limited Fc effector functions that binds specifically to soluble protofibrillar and fibrillsar forms of Aβ peptide.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that aglycosylated IgG variants can be engineered to productively engage with FcγRIIIA, as well as the human Fc gamma RII subset, and have the potential to allow therapeutic antibodies to be produced in virtually any expression system and still maintain effector function.

Mapping of bacteriophage f1 ribosome binding sites to their cognate genes

TL;DR: This method has mapped the three ribosome binding sites sequenced by Pieczenik et al. to fl genes VIII, V, and IV, respectively, and have identified an additional ribosomesome binding site which maps to either genes VI or I.
