New lead inorganic-organic hybrid microporous and layered materials: synthesis, properties, and crystal structures.

TL;DR: Two new lead(II) phosphonates, namely, Pb2[PMIDA]*1.5H2O and Pb(H2L) (2), have been synthesized by hydrothermal reactions at 150 degrees C, resulting in a 3D network with micropores, whose cavity is filled by lattice water molecules interlinked via hydrogen bonds.
Journal ArticleDOI

Metal carboxylate-phosphonate hybrid layered compounds: synthesis and single crystal structures of novel divalent metal complexes with N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid.

TL;DR: Two novel divalent metal complexes with N-(phosphonomethyl)iminodiacetic acid and Zn(2)(PMIDA)(CH(3)CO(2)H)] x 2H( 2)O, 2, have been synthesized and structurally characterized.
Journal ArticleDOI

NaVO2(IO3)2(H2O): A Unique Layered Material Produces A Very Strong SHG Response

TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis, crystal structure, and characterizations of a new noncentrosymmetric vanadyl iodate NaVO2(IO3)2(H2O) are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

New Types of Blue, Red or Near IR Luminescent Phosphonate-Decorated Lanthanide Oxalates

TL;DR: Seven new lanthanide oxalate phosphonate hybrids with three types of 3D network structures, namely, Ln(C2O4){MeNH(CH2CO2)(CH2PO3H)}]0.5 H2O (Ln=Nd: 1; Eu: 2; Gd: 3), [Ln4(C 2O4)5(Me2NHCH2 PO3)2(H2O)4]
Journal ArticleDOI

Cs2GeB4O9: a New Second-Order Nonlinear-Optical Crystal

TL;DR: The preliminary investigation indicates that Cs2GeB4O9 is a new promising second-order nonlinear-optical crystalline material that possesses a short-wavelength absorption edge onset determined by UV-vis transmission spectroscopy measurements on a slab of polished crystal.
