Journal ArticleDOI

Dome-shaped magnetic order competing with high-temperature superconductivity at high pressures in FeSe

TL;DR: High-pressure magnetotransport measurements in FeSe are reported, which uncover the dome shape of magnetic phase superseding the nematic order and highlight unique features of FeSe among iron-based superconductors, but bears some resemblance to that of high-Tc cuprates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pressure Induced Superconductivity on the border of Magnetic Order in MnP

TL;DR: The present finding of superconductivity on the border of long-range magnetic order in the itinerant-electron helimagnet MnP via the application of high pressure makes it the first Mn-based superconductor.
Journal ArticleDOI

Bipolar Conduction as the Possible Origin of the Electronic Transition in Pentatellurides: Metallic vs Semiconducting Behavior

TL;DR: In this article, a new analysis showed that the topological material ZrTe${}_{5}$ is a semiconductor with a unique electronic structure that exhibits very different behavior for electrons and holes, providing a long-sought explanation for its mysterious resistivity peak.
Journal ArticleDOI

Superconductivity of Lanthanum Superhydride Investigated Using the Standard Four-Probe Configuration under High Pressures

TL;DR: Fang Hong et al. as discussed by the authors, Liuxiang Yang, Pengfei Shan, Ziyi Liu, Jianping Sun, Yunyu Yin, Xiaohui Yu and Jinguang Cheng.
