Journal Article
Dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa in Mexico: 2470insG represents the most common mutation in 21 families
Journal ArticleDOI
PADI3, hair disorders and genomic investigation.
TL;DR: PADI3 mutations have now been implicated in another hair disorder, central centrifugal cicatricial alopecia (CCCA), the most common cause of scarring alopechia, predominantly affecting the central scalp, in women of African descent.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pathogenesis of solar urticaria: Classic perspectives and emerging concepts.
TL;DR: A review of the current understanding of solar urticaria pathogenesis can be found in this article, where the authors develop new hypotheses to drive future investigation into this intriguing disorder. But, their model does not account for several observations made during passive transfer experiments, nor does it explain a range of subsequent clinical and photobiological observations made in solar urological patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
A new clinical diagnostic matrix for epidermolysis bullosa
TL;DR: The need for comparative trials between the various systemic agents and phototherapy as a top priority and efforts should be made to bring clinical practice more in line with the currently available evidence are identified.
Journal ArticleDOI
