Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetry in the ionic fragmentation of N2O photoexcited around the N and O K edges
TL;DR: Asymmetry parameters for the fragment ions of N2O following excitation or ionization of the N and O K shell electrons have been determined from photoelectron−photoion coincidence (PEPICO) and photoion-photoion coincidences (PIPICO) spectra measured using monochromatized synchrotron radiation and a rotatable time-of-flight mass spectrometer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Vibrational structure and vibronic coupling in the carbon 1s photoelectron spectra of ethane and deuteroethane
Journal ArticleDOI
Probing ultrafast electronic and molecular dynamics with free-electron lasers.
Li Fang,Timur Osipov,Brendan Murphy,Artem Rudenko,Daniel Rolles,Vladimir S. Petrovic,Vladimir S. Petrovic,Christoph Bostedt,John D. Bozek,Philip H. Bucksbaum,Philip H. Bucksbaum,Nora Berrah +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, a review of recent molecular dynamics investigations using FELs is presented, focusing on revealing fundamental information on molecular structures and photon-molecule interaction and with broad impacts in chemical and biological sciences.
Journal ArticleDOI
ABSOLUTE PHOTOIONIZATION CROSS SECTION MEASUREMENTS OF O ii IONS FROM 29.7 TO 46.2 eV
A. Aguilar,Aaron Covington,G. Hinojosa,G. Hinojosa,R. A. Phaneuf,Ignacio Alvarez,C. Cisneros,John D. Bozek,Isabel Dominguez,M. M. Sant’Anna,M. M. Sant’Anna,Alfred S. Schlachter,Sultana N. Nahar,Brendan M. McLaughlin,Brendan M. McLaughlin +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a mixture of ground-state and metastable O ii (O + ) ions at photon energies ranging from 29.9 to 46.0 eV (414.7 to 269.5 A ˚ ) were measured by merging an O + beam with synchrotron radiation from an undulator beam line at the Advanced Light Source (ALS).
Journal ArticleDOI
The LAMP instrument at the Linac Coherent Light Source free-electron laser
Timur Osipov,Christoph Bostedt,J. C. Castagna,Ken R. Ferguson,Maximilian Bucher,Sebastian F. Carron Montero,Michele Swiggers,Razib Obaid,Daniel Rolles,Artem Rudenko,John D. Bozek,Nora Berrah +11 more
TL;DR: The design and capabilities of the spectrometers along with some general aspects of the LAMP chamber are described and some results from the initial instrument commissioning are shown.
