Journal ArticleDOI

Early Changes in Cardiovascular Biomarkers with Contemporary Thoracic Radiation Therapy for Breast Cancer, Lung Cancer, and Lymphoma.

TL;DR: Contemporary thoracic RT induces acute abnormalities in vascular and inflammatory biomarkers that are associated with radiation dose-volume metrics, particularly in lung cancer and mediastinal lymphoma, and were significantly associated with post-RT PIGF and GDF-15 levels in multivariable linear regression models.
Journal ArticleDOI

Technical Note: More accurate and efficient segmentation of organs-at-risk in radiotherapy with convolutional neural networks cascades.

TL;DR: The proposed two-step network demonstrated superior performance by reducing the input region and potentially can be an effective segmentation method that provides accurate and consistent delineation with reduced clinician interventions for clinical applications as well as for quality assurance of a multicenter clinical trial.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Cherenkov imaging for Total Skin Electron Therapy (TSET)

TL;DR: Patients undergoing TSET in various conditions (whole body and half body) were imaged and analyzed, and the viability of the system to provide clinical feedback was established.
