Journal ArticleDOI

Growth of gold/zinc sulphide multilayer films using layer-by-layer assembly of colloidal nanoparticles

TL;DR: In this paper, the fabrication of multilayer thin films through layer-by-layer deposition of charged nanoparticles on tin-doped indium oxide (ITO) coated and uncoated glass substrates is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI

Radiofrequency-plasma-deposited hydrogenated fluorinated silicon-carbon alloy films

TL;DR: The constant photocurrent spectra and space-charge-limited current studies combine to reveal a low density of shallow as well as deep defects in films prepared at low hydrogen dilution.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Forensic Fingerprint Enhancement using Bioadhesive Chitosan and Gold Nanoparticles

TL;DR: The gold nanoparticle deposition on chitosan treated latent fingerprints enhances contrast, making the fingerprint identification possible, and this simple technique has a potential of immediate application in forensic science.
Journal ArticleDOI

Optical fiber-based sensor for in situ monitoring of cadmium sulfide thin-film growth.

TL;DR: This study shows that in situ measurement of the thickness of thin films is feasible by this new technique, and a close match of the estimated thickness was achieved.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of Ga incorporation in polycrystalline CulnSe2 films

TL;DR: In this paper, a new optical technique was used to estimate the strain/stress in the polycrystalline films from the broadening of the optical absorption band tail, which increased the stress from 1.37 x 10 8 to 2.95x10 4 V/cm.
