Chitosan-based active coating for pineapple preservation: Evaluation of antimicrobial efficacy and shelf-life extension

TL;DR: In this paper , a chitosan-based nanocomposite formulation for active coating of a tropical fruit was proposed, which not only kept the pineapple fresh, but also preserved its quality and prolonged its shelf-life by up to three weeks during storage in ambient conditions.

Method for producing in-ear hearing aids and in-ear hearing aid

TL;DR: In this article, a mold is made of the individual auditory canal and a hearing aid shell is created using an additive construction technique such as laser sintering, stereolithography or the thermojet technique, which is controlled with the mould data.

Crystallization of amorphous nano-sized silicon powders

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystallization phenomena of nano-sized silicon powders (∼ 20 nm) prepared by a plasma induced reaction of silane were studied using in-situ heating in vacuum (<10−8 Torr) in a high resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM) and ex-Situ annealing in forming gas monitored by X-ray diffraction (XRD).
