Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of new indeno[1,2-e]pyrimido[4,5-b][1,4]diazepine-5,11-diones as potential antitumor agents.

TL;DR: Novel racemic indeno[1,2-e]pyrimido[4,5-b][1,4]diazepine-5,11-diones 3-29 were obtained regioselectivily from the reaction of 5,6-diamino-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-4-ones 1 and 2-arylideneindandiones 2 as reagents.
Journal ArticleDOI

A straightforward synthesis of pyrimido[4,5-b]quinoline derivatives assisted by microwave irradiation

TL;DR: Several pyrimido[4,5-b]quinolines, flavin analogues, have been prepared by assisted microwave intramolecular cyclization of N4substituted-2,4-diamino-6-chloropyrimidine-5-carbaldehydes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Generation of pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidines. Unexpected products in the multicomponent reaction of 6-aminopyrimidines, dimedone, and arylglyoxal

TL;DR: A series of 6-aryl-5-(1-cyclohexen-1-yl)pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidines 9a-q were obtained by the three-component reaction between 6-aminopyridines 6, 7, 8, dimedone 2, and arylglyoxal 5a,b.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis and in Vitro Antitumor Activity of a Novel Series of 2-Pyrazoline Derivatives Bearing the 4-Aryloxy-7-chloroquinoline Fragment

TL;DR: The 2-pyrazoline derivatives bearing the 4-aryloxy-7-chloroquinoline fragment are considered to be useful leads for the rational design of new antitumor agents.
Journal ArticleDOI

6-(Aryldiazenyl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidines as Strategic Intermediates for the Synthesis of Pyrazolo[5,1-b]purines.

TL;DR: A microwave-assisted approach for the regioselective synthesis of functionalized 6-(aryldiazenyl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-7-amines from the cyclization of 3-oxo-2-(2-arylhydrazinylidene)butanenitriles with 5-amino-1H-pyrazoles under solvent-free conditions has been developed.
