2-(Benzotriazol-1-ylmethyl)-1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidinone: two weak hydrogen bonds combine to form molecular ladders
John N. Low,Antonio Quesada,Justo Cobo,Manuel Nogueras,Adolfo Sánchez,Rodrigo Abonia,Herbert Meier +6 more
TL;DR: In the supramolecular structure of C16H15N5O, weak C-H⋯O and C-N bonds combine to form molecular ladders, the former bonds acting as the rungs and the latter as the uprights as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Methyl 2-benzyl-1-benzyloxy-6a-methyl-1,2,3,3a,4,6a-hexahydrocyclopenta[b]pyrrole-3a-carboxylate: hydrogen-bonded R44(24) sheets
TL;DR: In the title crystal structure, C24H27NO3, molcules are linked by two C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds into R44(24) sheets as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Sterically shielded pyramidal amino groups in two 4,4'-(arylmethylene)bis(6-allyl-3-chloro-2-methylaniline) derivatives
Maria C. Blanco,Alirio Palma,Ali Bahsas,Michael B. Hursthouse,Justo Cobo,Christopher Glidewell +5 more
TL;DR: 4,4'-(Phenylmethylene)bis(6-allyl-3-chloro-2-methylaniline), C(27)H(28)Cl(2)N(2), (I), and (II), adopt similar molecular conformations, although the thienyl group in (II) exhibits orientational disorder over two sets of sites with occupancies of 0.614 (3) and 0.386 (3).
Journal ArticleDOI
Microwave Induced Three‐Component Synthesis and Antimycobacterial Activity of Benzopyrazolo[3,4‐b]quinolindiones.
Jairo Quiroga,Yurina Diaz,Juan Bueno,Braulio Insuasty,Rodrigo Abonia,Alejandro Ortiz,Manuel Nogueras,Justo Cobo +7 more
TL;DR: Compounds (IVa, (IVe), and (IVg) show high anti-mycobacterial activities, which are related with the highest lipophilicity and the least polarity within these series.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hydrogen-bonded sheet structures in methyl 4-(4-chloroanilino)-3-nitrobenzoate and methyl 1-benzyl-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-1H-benzimidazole-5-carboxylate.
TL;DR: In methyl 4-(4-chloroanilino)-3-nitrobenzoate, C(14)H(11)ClN(2)O(4), (I), there is an intramolecular N-H...O hydrogen bond and the intramolescular distances provide evidence for electronic polarization of the o-quinonoid type.
