Journal ArticleDOI
DNA repair by ERCC1 in non-small-cell lung cancer and cisplatin-based adjuvant chemotherapy.
Ken A. Olaussen,Ariane Dunant,Pierre Fouret,Elisabeth Brambilla,Fabrice Andre,Vincent Haddad,E. Taranchon,Martin Filipits,Robert Pirker,Helmut Popper,R. Stahel,Laure Sabatier,Jean-Pierre Pignon,Thomas Tursz,Thierry Le Chevalier,Jean-Charles Soria +15 more
TL;DR: Patients with completely resected non-small-cell lung cancer and ERCC1-negative tumors appear to benefit from adjuvant cisplatin-based chemotherapy, whereas patients with ER CC1-positive tumors do not.
Journal ArticleDOI
Functional interaction between PARP-1 and PARP-2 in chromosome stability and embryonic development in mouse
Josiane Ménissier-de Murcia,Michelle Ricoul,Laurence Tartier,Claude Niedergang,Aline Huber,Françoise Dantzer,Valérie Schreiber,Jean-Christophe Amé,Andrée Dierich,Marianne LeMeur,Laure Sabatier,Pierre Chambon,Gilbert de Murcia +12 more
TL;DR: The DNA damage-dependent poly(ADP-ribose) polymerases, PARP1 and PARP-2, homo-and heterodimerize and are both involved in the base excision repair (BER) pathway as mentioned in this paper.
Journal Article
Functional interaction between PARP-1 and PARP-2 in chromosome stability and embryonic development in mouse
J. Menissier De Murcia,Michelle Ricoul,Aline Huber,Claude Niedergang,Valérie Schreiber,Laure Sabatier,G. de Murcia +6 more
TL;DR: It is reported that mice carrying a targeted disruption of the PARP‐2 gene are sensitive to ionizing radiation, and specific female embryonic lethality is observed in parp‐1+/−parp‐2−/− mutants at E9.5.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chemokine receptor CXCR4 and early-stage non-small cell lung cancer: pattern of expression and correlation with outcome.
J-P. Spano,Fabrice Andre,L. Morat,Laure Sabatier,Benjamin Besse,Christophe Combadière,Philippe Deterre,Anne-Laure Martin,J. Azorin,D. Valeyre,David Khayat,T. Le Chevalier,J-C. Soria +12 more
TL;DR: Strong CXCR4-positive nuclear staining was associated with a significantly better outcome in early-stage NSCLC, and the mechanisms underlying this clinically and biologically important finding need to be further explored.
Journal ArticleDOI
Targeting Assay To Study the cis Functions of Human Telomeric Proteins: Evidence for Inhibition of Telomerase by TRF1 and for Activation of Telomere Degradation by TRF2
Katia Ancelin,Michele Brunori,Serge Bauwens,Catherine-Elaine Koering,Christine Brun,Michelle Ricoul,Jean-Patrick Pommier,Laure Sabatier,Eric Gilson +8 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the targeting of human telomeric proteins TRF1 and TRF2 to specific telomeres leads to telomere shortening, which indicates that these proteins act in cis to represstelomere elongation.
