TL;DR: Inter-comparisons of four new dosimetry methods proposed or developed show good agreement between the laboratories and methods within the expected levels of uncertainty, and demonstrate that there is a lot of potential for each of the candidate techniques.

Possible Role of Inner-shell Ionization Phenomena in Cell Inactivation by Heavy Ions
TL;DR: The existence of a correlation between experimental probabilities of cell inactivation by charged particles and calculated probabilities for K-vacancy production in heavy atoms of the DNA of cell nuclei is established and a mechanism which has already been evoked to explain these photo- absorption experiments is considered.

TL;DR: The introduction of TC staining to the PCC fusion technique has made possible the rapid scoring of unstable CAs, including dicentrics, with a level of accuracy and ease not previously possible, which can be used for biological dosimetry in radiation emergency medicine and for the follow-up of patients treated by genotoxic therapy.
