Consensus and Future Directions on the Definition of High On-Treatment Platelet Reactivity to Adenosine Diphosphate
Laurent Bonello,Udaya S. Tantry,Rossella Marcucci,Ruediger Blindt,Dominick J. Angiolillo,Richard C. Becker,Deepak L. Bhatt,Marco Cattaneo,Jean-Philippe Collet,Thomas Cuisset,Christian Gachet,Gilles Montalescot,Lisa K. Jennings,Dean J. Kereiakes,Dirk Sibbing,Dietmar Trenk,Jochem W. van Werkum,Franck Paganelli,Matthew J. Price,Ron Waksman,Paul A. Gurbel +20 more
TL;DR: A consensus opinion is provided on the definition of high on-treatment platelet reactivity to ADP based on various methods reported in the literature and how this measurement may be used in the future care of patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Consensus and Update on the Definition of On-Treatment Platelet Reactivity to Adenosine Diphosphate Associated With Ischemia and Bleeding
Udaya S. Tantry,Laurent Bonello,Daniel Aradi,Matthew J. Price,Young-Hoon Jeong,Dominick J. Angiolillo,Gregg W. Stone,Nicholas Curzen,Tobias Geisler,Jurriën M. ten Berg,Ajay J. Kirtane,Jolanta M. TL;DR: An updated consensus document reviews the available evidence and proposes cutoff values for high and low on-treatment platelet reactivity to ADP that might be used in future investigations of personalized antiplatelet therapy and proposes a therapeutic window concept for P2Y12 inhibitor therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Adjusted Clopidogrel Loading Doses According to Vasodilator-Stimulated Phosphoprotein Phosphorylation Index Decrease Rate of Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events in Patients With Clopidogrel Resistance A Multicenter Randomized Prospective Study
Laurent Bonello,Laurence Camoin-Jau,Stephane Arques,Christian Boyer,Dimitri Panagides,Olivier Wittenberg,Marie Claude Simeoni,Paul Barragan,Françoise Dignat-George,Franck Paganelli +9 more
TL;DR: This is the first study to suggest that adjusting the clopidogrel loading dose according to platelet monitoring using the VASP index is safe and may significantly improve the clinical outcome after PCI in patients with clopinogrel resistance despite a first 600-mg loading dose.
Journal ArticleDOI
Updated Expert Consensus Statement on Platelet Function and Genetic Testing for Guiding P2Y12 Receptor Inhibitor Treatment in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
Dirk Sibbing,Daniel Aradi,Dimitrios Alexopoulos,Jurriën M. ten Berg,Deepak L. Bhatt,Laurent Bonello,Jean-Philippe Collet,Thomas Cuisset,Francesco Franchi,Lisa Gross,Paul A. Gurbel,Young-Hoon Jeong,Roxana Mehran,David J. Moliterno,Franz-Josef Neumann,Naveen L. Pereira,Matthew J. Price,Marc S. Sabatine,Derek So,Gregg W. Stone,Robert F. Storey,Udaya S. Tantry,Dietmar Trenk,Marco Valgimigli,Ron Waksman,Dominick J. Angiolillo +25 more
TL;DR: An international expert consensus group of key leaders from North America, Asia, and Europe with expertise in the field of antiplatelet treatment was convened and summarizes the contemporary updated expert consensus recommendations for the selective use of PFT or genotyping in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical Features, Management, and Outcomes of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor–Related Cardiotoxicity
Marion Escudier,Jennifer Cautela,N. Malissen,Yann Ancedy,Morgane Orabona,Johan Pinto,Sandrine Monestier,Jean-Jacques Grob,Ugo Scemama,Alexis Jacquier,Nathalie Lalevée,Jeremie Barraud,Michael Peyrol,Marc Laine,Laurent Bonello,Franck Paganelli,Ariel Cohen,Fabrice Barlesi,Stéphane Ederhy,Franck Thuny +19 more
TL;DR: The medical records of patients with a clinical suspicion of ICI-related cardiotoxicity were reviewed from the databases of 2 cardio-oncology units between March 2015 and April 2017 and found no specific follow-up had previously been established for patients receiving ICIs during the study period.
