Journal ArticleDOI
Spinon Fermi surface in a triangular lattice quantum spin liquid YbMgGaO4
Yao Shen,Yaodong Li,Hongliang Wo,Yuesheng Li,Shoudong Shen,Bingying Pan,Qisi Wang,Helen Walker,P. Steffens,Martin Boehm,Yiqing Hao,D. L. Quintero-Castro,Leland Weldon Harriger,Lijie Hao,Siqin Meng,Qingming Zhang,Gang Chen,Jun Zhao +17 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported neutron scattering measurements that reveal broad spin excitations covering a wide region of the Brillouin zone in an extremely clean antiferromagnet YbMgGaO4.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nonreciprocal Magnons and Symmetry-Breaking in the Noncentrosymmetric Antiferromagnet.
G. Gitgeatpong,Yang Zhao,Yang Zhao,P. Piyawongwatthana,Yiming Qiu,Leland Weldon Harriger,Nicholas P. Butch,Taku J. Sato,Kittiwit Matan +8 more
TL;DR: Inelastic neutron scattering measurements were performed to study spin dynamics in the non-centrosymmetric antiferromagnet α-Cu 2 V 2 O O 7, where the breaking of spatial inversion and time reversal symmetry was revealed as a magnetic-field-induced asymmetric energy shift as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spin Stripe Order in a Square Planar Trilayer Nickelate
Junjie Zhang,Junjie Zhang,Daniel M. Pajerowski,Antia S. Botana,Antia S. Botana,Hong Zheng,Leland Weldon Harriger,Jose A. Rodriguez-Rivera,Jose A. Rodriguez-Rivera,Jacob Ruff,Nathaniel J. Schreiber,Bi-Xia Wang,Yu-Sheng Chen,Wangchun Chen,Wangchun Chen,M. R. Norman,Stephan Rosenkranz,John F. Mitchell,D. Phelan +18 more
TL;DR: In this article, the ground state of trilayer nickelates is shown to be magnetic and the magnetic ordering occurring in individual trilayers that are essentially uncorrelated along the crystallographic $c$ axis.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural and Magnetic Phase Diagram of CrAs and its Relationship with Pressure-induced Superconductivity
Yao Shen,Qisi Wang,Yiqing Hao,Bingying Pan,Yu Feng,Qingzhen Huang,Leland Weldon Harriger,Juscelino B. Leão,Yang Zhao,Yang Zhao,Robin Chisnell,Jeffrey W. Lynn,Huibo Cao,Jiangping Hu,Jiangping Hu,Jun Zhao +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used neutron diffraction to study the structure and magnetic phase diagram of the newly discovered pressure-induced superconductor CrAs and showed that CrAs exhibits a spin reorientation from the $ab$ plane to the $ac$ plane, along with an abrupt drop of the magnetic propagation vector at a critical pressure.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of Pnictogen Height on Spin Waves in Iron Pnictides
Chenglin Zhang,Chenglin Zhang,Chenglin Zhang,Leland Weldon Harriger,Zhiping Yin,Weicheng Lv,Miaoyin Wang,Guotai Tan,Yu Song,Douglas L. Abernathy,Wei Tian,Takeshi Egami,Takeshi Egami,Kristjan Haule,Gabriel Kotliar,Pengcheng Dai +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, inelastic neutron scattering was used to study spin waves in the antiferromagnetic ordered phase of iron pnictide NaFeAs throughout the Brillouin zone.
