Journal ArticleDOI

Prognostic Significance of Short-Term Blood Pressure Variability in Acute Stroke: Systematic Review.

TL;DR: It is suggested that greater systolic BPV, measured early from ischemic stroke or intracerebral hemorrhage onset, is associated with poor longer-term functional outcome.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of antiplatelet therapy after stroke due to intracerebral haemorrhage (RESTART): a randomised, open-label trial

Rustam Al-Shahi Salman, +933 more
- 29 Jun 2019 -
TL;DR: The results exclude all but a very modest increase in the risk of recurrent intracranial haemorrhage with antiplatelet therapy for patients on antithrombotic therapy for the prevention of occlusive vascular disease when they developed intracerebral haem orrhage.
Journal ArticleDOI

Antiplatelet therapy with aspirin, clopidogrel, and dipyridamole versus clopidogrel alone or aspirin and dipyridamole in patients with acute cerebral ischaemia (TARDIS): a randomised, open-label, phase 3 superiority trial

Philip M.W. Bath, +514 more
- 20 Dec 2017 -
