TL;DR: In this article, the authors determined the efficacy of tocilizumab (TCZ) in preventing grade II-IV acute GVHD (aGVHD) in patients with acute leukemia or myelodysplasia undertaking matched-related-sibling (MSD) or volunteer-unrelated-donor (VUD) allogeneic-SCT after myeloablative or reduced-intensity conditioning across five Australian centers.

Temporal trends in co-morbidities and cardiometabolic risk factors at the time of type 2 diabetes diagnosis in the UK
Joanna Ling,Joanna Ling,Digsu N. Koye,Luke Buizen,Kamlesh Khunti,Olga Montvida,Sanjoy K. Paul +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated temporal patterns in co-morbidities, cardiometabolic risk factors and a high atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) risk population at type 2 diabetes (T2D) diagnosis by age groups and sex.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy of TCZ in preventing grade II-IV acute GVHD in patients with acute leukaemia or myelodysplasia undertaking 8/8 matched related sibling or matched unrelated donor (MUD) allogeneic HPCT after myeloablative or reduced intensity conditioning across five Australian transplant centers.
Journal ArticleDOI
The risk of postoperative deterioration of non-cardiac surgery patients with ICU referral status who are admitted to the regular ward: a retrospective observational cohort study
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the subsequent inpatient course of intensive care unit -referred but not admitted surgical patients and calculated risk of serious complications and predicted length of stay using the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program scoring tool.
