A nanoporous molecular magnet with reversible solvent-induced mechanical and magnetic properties
Daniel Maspoch,Daniel Ruiz-Molina,Klaus Wurst,Neus Domingo,M. Cavallini,Fabio Biscarini,Javier Tejada,Concepció Rovira,Jaume Veciana +8 more
TL;DR: MOROF-1 shows a reversible and highly selective solvent-induced 'shrinking–breathing' process involving large volume changes that strongly influence the magnetic properties of the material, which could be the first stage of a new route towards magnetic solvent sensors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Self-organization of rotaxane thin films into spatially correlated nanostructures: morphological and structural aspects.
Jean-François Moulin,Jean Crispin Kengne,Rajendra Kshirsagar,M. Cavallini,Fabio Biscarini,Salvador León,Francesco Zerbetto,Giovanni Bottari,David A. Leigh +8 more
TL;DR: The self-organization of rotaxane thin films into spatially correlated nanostructures is shown to occur upon a thermal stimulus and represents a metastable state of a crystallization process, and spatial correlations emerge during ripening, but they are destroyed as stable nuclei are formed and crystallization proceeds to completion.
Supramolecular Organization of ,'-Disubstituted Sexithiophenes
Albertus P. H. J. Schenning,Andreas F. M. Kilbinger,Fabio Biscarini,M. Cavallini,H. J. Cooper,P. J. Derrick,W. J. Feast,Roberto Lazzaroni,Ph. Leclère,L. A. Mcdonell,E. W. Meijer,And S. C. J. Meskers +11 more

Spin Polarized Effects at the Interface Between Manganites and Organic Semiconductors
Valentin Dediu,Ilaria Bergenti,Fabio Biscarini,M. Cavallini,M. Murgia,Petr Nozar,Giampiero Ruani,C. Taliani +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the spin polarization of the La0.7Sr0.3MnO3 manganite films and the spin polarized injection from the manganites into π-conjugated organic semiconductors were investigated.

Half Metallic Response of Manganite Films at Room Temperature from Spin-Polarized Scanning Tunneling Microscopy
TL;DR: In this paper, the spin-splitted egt2g manganite bands were shown to be spin-polarized at room temperature with optical and photo-emission spectroscopy data.
