Wolfe +29 more
TL;DR: A series of experiments, examining the confinement properties of ion cyclotron range of frequencies (ICRF) heated H mode plasmas, has been carried out on the Alcator C-Mod tokamak as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the divertor and scrape-off layer of Alcator C-Mod for a wide range of plasma conditions, including low recycling, high-recycling, and detached regimes, and reversed divertor flows.
Journal ArticleDOI
X-ray and VUV observations of brightness profiles from Alcator C-Mod plasmas
J. E. Rice,J.L. Terry,K. B. Fournier,M. Graf,Michael Finkenthal,M. J. May,Earl Marmar,William H. Goldstein,Amanda Hubbard +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured x-ray and VUV lines from eight molybdenum charge states between and have been measured in Alcator C-Mod plasmas.
Journal ArticleDOI
Calculation of the radiative cooling coefficient for molybdenum in a low density plasma
TL;DR: In this article, the calculated radiative cooling rate coefficient for krypton as a trace impurity in low to moderate density plasmas is calculated. But, the radiative loss rate is not considered in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Survey of ICRF heating experiments and enhanced performance modes in Alcator C-Mod

Welch,S.M. Wolfe +31 more
TL;DR: The results of ICRF heating experiments in Alcator C-Mod during the November 1994 to June 1995 campaign are summarized in this article, where the authors show that the H-mode power threshold was found to scale as low as, which is a factor of two lower than the scaling observed on other tokamaks.
