EGFR inhibitors and apoptotic inducers: Design, synthesis, anticancer activity and docking studies of novel xanthine derivatives carrying chalcone moiety as hybrid molecules.
Hesham A. Abou-Zied,Bahaa G.M. Youssif,Mamdouh F.A. Mohamed,Alaa M. Hayallah,Mohamed Abdel-Aziz +4 more
TL;DR: The apoptotic effect of the most potent compounds 11 was extensively investigated and showed a marked increase in Bax level up to 29 folds, and down-regulation in Bcl2 to 0.28 fold, in comparison to the control.
Journal ArticleDOI
Data Augmentation for Skin Lesion using Self-Attention based Progressive Generative Adversarial Network
TL;DR: This paper proposes a novel enhancement for the progressive generative adversarial networks (PGAN) using self-attention mechanism that complements PGAN to generate fine-grained samples that comprise clinically-meaningful information.
Journal ArticleDOI
Design, synthesis, mechanistic and histopathological studies of small-molecules of novel indole-2-carboxamides and pyrazino[1,2-a]indol-1(2H)-ones as potential anticancer agents effecting the reactive oxygen species production.
Bahaa G.M. Youssif,Mostafa H. Abdelrahman,Ahmed H. Abdelazeem,Mohamed A. Abdelgawad,Hussein M. Ibrahim,Ola I. A. Salem,Mamdouh F.A. Mohamed,Laurent Treambleau,Syed Nasir Abbas Bukhari +8 more
TL;DR: Results revealed that the consequence of exposure to chronic low dose of chlorpyrifos on the testis of male mice and results revealed that these effects can be ameliorated by co-treatment with the most active antioxidant compounds 5d and 5e.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular targets and anticancer activity of quinoline–chalcone hybrids: literature review
TL;DR: The quinolone-chalcone–chalcone hybrids with potential anticancer activity have been reviewed and might be helpful for the design, discovery and development of new and potential multi-target anticancer agents or drugs.

Data Augmentation for Skin Lesion using Self-Attention based Progressive Generative Adversarial Network
TL;DR: In this paper, a self-attention mechanism is used to directly model the long-range dependencies in the feature maps, which complements PGAN to generate fine-grained samples that comprise clinically meaningful information.
