Abstract P1-07-01: Real time detection of ESR1 mutation in blood by droplet digital PCR in the PADA-1 trial: Feasibility and cross-validation with NGS

TL;DR: The sample flow of this first-in-its-class trial, from April 2017 to March 2021, and the cross-validation of ddPCR results with NGS showed an excellent correlation, as well as the number of ESR1mut copies detected per mL of plasma together with the Mutant Allele Frequency (MAF).
Journal ArticleDOI

Single Droplet Digital Polymerase Chain Reaction for Comprehensive and Simultaneous Detection of Mutations in Hotspot Regions

TL;DR: Drop-off ddPCR displays comparable sensitivity to conventional ddPCRs with the advantage of detecting a greater number of mutations in a single reaction, which is cost-effective, conserves precious sample material, and can also be used as a discovery tool when mutations are not known a priori.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Abstract 87: Micropapillary breast carcinoma is characterized by deregulation of genes involved in cell division control

TL;DR: Analysis of biological specificities of invasive micropapillary carcinoma of the breast showed that IMPC constitutes a distinct entity from ER+ N+ LVI+ IDC with, in particular, high frequencies of bi-nucleated cells, 17q gains and amplifications associated with 6q losses of heterozygosity.
