Method and device for treating a c4 fraction
Gerald Meyer,Gerd Kaibel,Gerd Bohner,Kindler Klaus,Till Adrian,Karin Pickenäcker,Melanie Pahl,Thomas Hill +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for treating a C4 fraction, comprising the following steps: extractive distillation (I), selective hydrogenation on a heterogeneous catalyst (II), a stream of crude 1,3-butadiene resulting from steps (I and (II); and distillation of said stream of 1 3 butadiene in order to obtain pure 1 3 -butadienes (III).

Method and device for obtaining 1,3 pure butadiene from 1,3 raw butadiene by distillation
TL;DR: In this article, a method for obtaining 1.3 pure butadiene from 1.5 raw butadienes by distillation is described. Butadiene extraction is carried out in a separating wall column, wherein separating wall is arranged in the longitudinal direction of the column in such a manner that it forms a common upper column area, a common lower column area and a feed part and a removal part.
Journal ArticleDOI
Establishment of a human cell-based in vitro battery to assess developmental neurotoxicity hazard of chemicals.
Jonathan Blum,Stefan Masjosthusmann,Kristina Bartmann,Farina Bendt,Xenia Dolde,Arif Dönmez,Nils Förster,Anna-Katharina Holzer,Ulrike Hübenthal,Hagen Eike Keßel,Sadiye Kilic,Jördis Klose,Melanie Pahl,Lynn-Christin Stürzl,Iris Mangas,Andrea Terron,Kevin M. Crofton,Martin Scholze,Axel Mosig,Marcel Leist,Ellen Fritsche +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper , an in vitro battery was assembled from ten individual NAMs that had been developed during the past years to probe effects of chemicals on various fundamental neurodevelopmental processes, including proliferation of neural progenitor cells, migration of neural crest cells, radial glia cells, neurons and oligodendrocytes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Scientific Validation of Human Neurosphere Assays for Developmental Neurotoxicity Evaluation
Katharina Koch,Kristina Bartmann,Julia Hartmann,Julia Kapr,Jördis Klose,Eliška Kuchovská,Melanie Pahl,K. Schlüppmann,Etta Zühr,Ellen Fritsche +9 more
TL;DR: This study scientifically validate the Neurosphere Assay, which is based on human primary neural progenitor cells (hNPCs) and an integral part of the DNT in vitro screening battery is well poised for DNT evaluation for regulatory purposes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Application of the adverse outcome pathway concept for investigating developmental neurotoxicity potential of Chinese herbal medicines by using human neural progenitor cells in vitro
Jördis Klose,Lu Li,Melanie Pahl,Farina Bendt,Ulrike Hübenthal,Christian Jüngst,Patrick Petzsch,Astrid Schauss,Karl Köhrer,Ping-Chung Leung,Chi Chiu Wang,Katharina Koch,Julia Tigges,Xiaohui Fan,Ellen Fritsche +14 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors evaluated DNT hazards of two selected Chinese herbal medicines (CHMs) Lei Gong Teng (LGT) and Tian Ma (TM), and provided further insight into their modes of action.
