Taxonomic revision of Pseudolachnea and Pseudolachnella and establishment of Neopseudolachnella and Pseudodinemasporium gen. nov.

TL;DR: It was concluded that differences observed in the conidiomatal structure, such as thickness of basal stroma and the excipulum, were more reliable for their circumscription, instead of conidial septation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Resolving the Lophiostoma bipolare complex: Generic delimitations within Lophiostomataceae.

TL;DR: The re-evaluation of the validity of several previously recognised genera resulted in the introduction of two new genera with new combinations for Lophiostoma pseudoarmatisporum as Parapaucispora pseudoARMatispora and Vaginatispora fuckelii as Neovaginatispor fuckelsii.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pseudodidymellaceae fam. nov.: Phylogenetic affiliations of mycopappus-like genera in Dothideomycetes

TL;DR: Melanommataceae should be restricted to its type genus Melanomma, which is characterised by ascomata composed of a well-developed, carbonaceous peridium, and an aposphaeria-like coelomycetous asexual morph.
Journal ArticleDOI

Erratum to: Fungal diversity notes 111–252—taxonomic and phylogenetic contributions to fungal taxa

Hiran A. Ariyawansa, +144 more
- 01 Nov 2015 -
TL;DR: In this paper, taxonomic and phylogenetic contributions to fungal taxa are described and annotated for the first time in a taxonomic context.Erratum to: Fungal Diversity Notes 111−252
Journal ArticleDOI

Taxonomy and phylogeny of Cryptocoryneum (Pleosporales, Dothideomycetes)

TL;DR: The phylogenetic analysis indicated that Cryptocoryneum species formed a monophyletic clade and were closely related to Lophiotrema (Lophiotremataceae) and Aquasubmersa (incertae sedis) in the Pleosporales (Dothideomycetes).
