Perpendicular induced magnetic moments of Ag in Ag/Fe multilayers

TL;DR: In this paper, the induced magnetic moments of Ag in Ag/Fe multilayers with low temperature nuclear orientation were studied and it was shown that there are magnetic moments in the spacer of the Ag spacer and these induced magnetic points do not lie in the plane of the multilayer for 2 and 4 ML of Ag at low external field.
Journal ArticleDOI

Discovery of the neutron radiative decay

TL;DR: The radiative gamma-decay (RBD) as discussed by the authors is a rare neutron mode, where a new particle is formed along with the expected decay products beta-electron, recoil proton and antineutrino.
Journal ArticleDOI

Brute-force orientation of hf-178m2 and magnetic-moments of hf-178m1 and hf-178m2

TL;DR: The magnetic moment of the 8− isomer at 1147.7 keV (4.0 s) is estimated to be between 1.4 and 5.3 nm as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anisotropic alpha-emission in the223Ra decay chain

TL;DR: Anisotropic α-emission from nuclei in the decay chain from223Ra to207Tl has been observed using low temperature nuclear orientation in combination with high resolution α-detection at 4.2 K as mentioned in this paper.
