Central collisions of Au on Au at 150, 250 and 400 A·MeV

TL;DR: In this article, the FOPI-facility at GSI Darmstadt was used to study collisions of Au on Au at incident energies of 150, 250 and 400 A ·MeV.
Journal ArticleDOI

Time measurements by means of digital sampling techniques: a study case of 100 ps FWHM time resolution with a 100 MSample/s, 12 bit digitizer

TL;DR: An application of digital sampling techniques is presented which can simplify experiments involving sub-nanosecond time-mark determinations and energy measurements with nuclear detectors, used for Pulse Shape Analysis and Time of Flight measurements in heavy ion experiments.
Journal ArticleDOI

Search for the circular polarization of the 1081-keV gamma ray in 18F.

TL;DR: This result, when averaged with those of recent measurements in /sup 18/F, sets an upper constraint for the absolute value of the coupling constant f/sub ..pi../ of the weak ..pi..NN interaction of Vertical Barf/sub .pi../Vertical Bar<.
Journal ArticleDOI

Intermediate Mass Fragment Emission Pattern in Peripheral Heavy-Ion Collisions at Fermi Energies

TL;DR: The emission pattern in the v(perp)-v(par) plane of intermediate mass fragments with Z = 3--7 (IMF) has been studied in the collision 116Sn+ 93Nb at 29.5A MeV as a function of the total kinetic energy loss of the reaction.
