TL;DR: In this article, the correlation of these produced particles with respect to the reaction plane was analyzed with the FOPI detector system, and it was shown that baryons exhibit a very pronounced sideward flow pattern which is qualitatively similar to the proton flow.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: Highly central collisions have been studied using a double selection criterion which combines large charged-particle multiplicities with small transverse-momentum directivities and about one quarter of the total nuclear charge emerges as intermediate-mass fragments with nuclear charges.
Journal ArticleDOI
A large area timing RPC
TL;DR: In this paper, a large area Resistive Plate Chamber (RPC) with a total active surface of 160×10 cm 2 was built and tested, where the surface was segmented in two 5 cm wide strips readout on both ends with custom, very high frequency, front-end electronics.
