Journal ArticleDOI
Carbon-dot-supported atomically dispersed gold as a mitochondrial oxidative stress amplifier for cancer treatment.
Ningqiang Gong,Ningqiang Gong,Xiaowei Ma,Xiaoxia Ye,Qunfang Zhou,Xiao’ai Chen,Xiaoli Tan,Shengkun Yao,Shuaidong Huo,Tingbin Zhang,Shizhu Chen,Shizhu Chen,Xucong Teng,Xixue Hu,Jie Yu,Yaling Gan,Huaidong Jiang,Jinghong Li,Xing-Jie Liang +18 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that MitoCAT-g amplifies the oxidative stress in mitochondria and suppresses tumour growth in vivo, representing a promising agent for anticancer applications.
Journal ArticleDOI
One-step microwave-assisted polyol synthesis of green luminescent carbon dots as optical nanoprobes
TL;DR: In this article, a one-step microwave assisted polyol method was developed to fabricate green luminescent carbon dots (CDs) by using sucrose as the carbon source and diethylene glycol as the reaction medium.
Journal ArticleDOI
Thermo-responsive triple-function nanotransporter for efficient chemo-photothermal therapy of multidrug-resistant bacterial infection.
Guangchao Qing,Xianxian Zhao,Ningqiang Gong,Jing Chen,Xianlei Li,Yaling Gan,Yongchao Wang,Zhen Zhang,Yuxuan Zhang,Weisheng Guo,Yang Luo,Xing-Jie Liang +11 more
TL;DR: In vitro and in vivo evidence demonstrate that even low doses of imipenem-encapsulated TRIDENT (Thermo-Responsive-Inspired Drug-Delivery Nano-Transporter) could eradicate clinical methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, whereas imipanem alone had limited effect.
Journal ArticleDOI
Proton-driven transformable nanovaccine for cancer immunotherapy
Ningqiang Gong,Yuxuan Zhang,Xucong Teng,Yongchao Wang,Shuaidong Huo,Shuaidong Huo,Guangchao Qing,Qiankun Ni,Qiankun Ni,Xianlei Li,Jinjin Wang,Xiaoxia Ye,Tingbin Zhang,Shizhu Chen,Shizhu Chen,Yongji Wang,Jie Yu,Paul C. Wang,Paul C. Wang,Paul C. Wang,Yaling Gan,Jinchao Zhang,Michael J. Mitchell,Jinghong Li,Xing-Jie Liang,Xing-Jie Liang +25 more
TL;DR: A shape-changing pH-responsive cancer vaccine delivers antigenic peptides directly to the cytoplasm and boosts the cellular immune response upon activation of the inflammasome pathway, efficiently inhibiting tumour growth and extending survival in animal tumour models.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microwave-assisted polyol synthesis of gadolinium-doped green luminescent carbon dots as a bimodal nanoprobe.
TL;DR: These gadolinium-doped green luminescent carbon dots combining two complementary imaging modalities are a promising bimodal nanoprobe in medical imaging for a better diagnosis.
