The Massive and Distant Clusters of WISE Survey. III. Sunyaev-Zel'dovich Masses of Galaxy Clusters at $z \sim 1$

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present CARMA 30 GHz Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (SZ) observations of five high-redshift, infrared-selected galaxy clusters discovered as part of the all-sky Massive and Distant Clusters of WISE Survey (MaDCoWS).
Journal ArticleDOI

Silicate Emission in the Spitzer IRS Spectrum of FSC 10214+4724

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented the first mid-infrared spectrum of the z = 2.2856 ultraluminous infrared galaxy FSC 10214+4724, obtained with the Infrared Spectrograph (IRS) on board the Spitzer Space Telescope.
Journal ArticleDOI

The multiple merger assembly of a hyperluminous obscured quasar at redshift 4.6

TL;DR: Far-infrared dust continuum observations show three galaxy companions around W2246−0526 with disturbed morphologies, connected by streams of dust likely produced by the dynamical interaction, suggesting that merger activity may be a dominant mechanism through which the most luminous galaxies simultaneously obscure and feed their central supermassive black holes.
