Overexpression of glut1 and glut3 in stage I nonsmall cell lung carcinoma is Associated with poor survival

TL;DR: The aim of this study was to determine the biologic significance of Glut1 and Glut3 overexpression in Stage I NSCLC.
Journal Article

Absence of retinoblastoma protein expression in primary non-small cell lung carcinomas.

TL;DR: The results suggest that absence of the RB expression may be associated with the initiation and/or progression of many NSCLC.
Journal ArticleDOI

The diagnostic utility of desmin. A study of 584 cases and review of the literature.

TL;DR: In this paper, the diagnostic utility of several antibodies against desmin and their optimal staining conditions have not been systematically evaluated, and the results were tabulated and compared with those from previous reports, which indicated that diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of the evaluated antibody should improve the use of desmin in diagnostic pathology.
Journal ArticleDOI

Localized malignant mesothelioma.

TL;DR: Patients who died had developed local recurrences and metastases, but none had diffuse pleural spread and should be separated from diffuse malignant mesotheliomas because of their localized presentation, quite different biologic behavior, and far better prognosis.
