Lactic acidosis: a unique presentation of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
TL;DR: In this article, an elderly man in the seventh decade of life was brought to the hospital with worsening mental status, and blood tests revealed anaemia and thrombocytopenia with elevated lactate dehydrogenase and serum lactate levels.
Journal ArticleDOI
Confirmed Hypoglycemia Without Whipple Triad: A Rare Case of Hyper-Warburgism.
TL;DR: The patient presented with exaggerated Warburg effect (hyper-Warburgism), evident by extreme glucose consumption, severe lactic acidosis, and large tumor burden on PET/CT, and Chemotherapy corrected these abnormalities rapidly, and must be instituted in a timely manner.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hypothyroidism After Use of Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Therapy in Patient With Graves' Disease: Cure?
TL;DR: In this article , an unusual case of Graves' disease potentially cured due to destructive thyroiditis caused by inflammation due to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) is presented, which is more common with PD-1 inhibitors than cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4 (CTLA-4).
