SOX2 expression correlates with lymph-node metastases and distant spread in right-sided colon cancer.

TL;DR: It is demonstrated that increased expression of either SOX2 or nuclear β-catenin are associated with distant metastases in right-sided CC andSOX2 is also associated with lymph-node metastases, highlighting the importance of stemness-associated markers for the identification of CC with high risk for distant spread.

TL;DR: In this article, a review aims to pinpoint some potentially important angles, which have to be considered mutually when studying H. pylori's pathogenicity, and discuss the recent experimental proofs of the "hygiene hypothesis" in correlation with Helicobacter's infection, which adds another aspect of complexity to this infection.
