TL;DR: This study demonstrates that multiple metabolomic platforms have potential as phenotyping tools to assist breeders in their quest to combine key yield and quality characteristics and better enables rice improvement programs to meet different consumer and farmer needs, and to address food security in rice-consuming countries.
Book ChapterDOI
Basin formation by volcanic arc loading
TL;DR: In this article, the authors quantifi es the fl exural subsidence expected from loading by a volcanic arc and show that the arc width should grow with time and that the subsidence beneath the load can be estimated from the observed arc width at the surface.
Journal ArticleDOI
The character and significance of basement rocks of the southern Molucca Sea region
TL;DR: In the Molucca Sea region of the Philippines, Ophiolitic and volcanic structures are associated with arc and forearc igneous and sedimentary rocks and are interpreted as the oldest parts of the Philippine Sea Plate with equivalents in the ridges and plateaux of the northern Philippine Sea.
Journal ArticleDOI
A record of continental collision and regional sediment flux for the Cretaceous and Palaeogene core of SE Asia: implications for early Cenozoic palaeogeography
TL;DR: In this article, Detrital zircons from seven sandstone samples contain U-Pb age populations with ages of 50-80 Ma, 74-145 Ma, 202-298 Ma, 480-653 Ma and 723-1290 Ma.
Journal ArticleDOI
Diverticulum of the heart. Part of the syndrome of congenital cardiac and midline thoracic and abdominal defects.
TL;DR: A case of coexistent congenital midline thoracoabdominal and cardiac defects is presented, which consisted of a large ventricular septal defect and a muscular diverticulum of the left ventricle.
