Journal ArticleDOI

Mapping long-range promoter contacts in human cells with high-resolution capture Hi-C

TL;DR: In this article, the authors use Capture Hi-C (CHi-C) to examine the long-range interactions of almost 22,000 promoters in 2 human blood cell types and identify over 1.6 million shared and cell type-restricted interactions spanning hundreds of kilobases between promoters and distal loci.
Journal ArticleDOI

GOTHiC, a probabilistic model to resolve complex biases and to identify real interactions in Hi-C data.

TL;DR: A simple binomial probabilistic model is introduced that resolves complex biases and distinguishes between true and false interactions and provides a statistical framework for further data analysis, such as comparisons of Hi-C interactions between different conditions.

A glove-based gesture interface for wearable computing applications

TL;DR: Preliminary results from user feedback given at a public demonstration of the gesture recognition software and the integration of the device into application software with the help of a context framework are presented.
