The utility of 3D medical imaging techniques for obtaining a reliable differential diagnosis of metastatic cancer in an Iron Age skull
TL;DR: A case of neoplastic disease affecting an Iron Age skull that provides some of the earliest evidence of metastatic cancer in Western Europe is presented and it is tentatively suggested that breast carcinoma is the primary origin of the clinical manifestations recorded on the skull.
