Northern Hemisphere permafrost map based on TTOP modelling for 2000–2016 at 1 km2 scale
Jaroslav Obu,Sebastian Westermann,Annett Bartsch,Nikolai M. Berdnikov,Hanne H. Christiansen,Avirmed Dashtseren,Reynald Delaloye,Bo Elberling,Bernd Etzelmüller,Alexander Kholodov,Artem Khomutov,Andreas Kääb,Marina Leibman,Antoni G. Lewkowicz,Santosh Panda,Vladimir E. Romanovsky,Robert G. Way,Robert G. Way,Andreas Westergaard-Nielsen,Tonghua Wu,Jambaljav Yamkhin,Defu Zou +21 more
TL;DR: In this article, an equilibrium state model for the temperature at the top of the permafrost (TTOP model) for the 2000-2016 period, driven by remotely-sensed land surface temperatures, down-scaled ERA-Interim climate reanalysis data, tundra wetness classes and landcover map from the ESA Landcover Climate Change Initiative (CCI), was employed.
Journal ArticleDOI
TREM2 Modulation Remodels the Tumor Myeloid Landscape Enhancing Anti-PD-1 Immunotherapy
Martina Molgora,Ekaterina Esaulova,William Vermi,Jinchao Hou,Yun Chen,Jingqin Luo,Simone Brioschi,Mattia Bugatti,Andrea Salvatore Omodei,Biancamaria Ricci,Catrina Fronick,Santosh Panda,Yoshiko Takeuchi,Matthew M. Gubin,Roberta Faccio,Marina Cella,Susan Gilfillan,Emil R. Unanue,Maxim N. Artyomov,Robert D. Schreiber,Marco Colonna +20 more
TL;DR: It is found that Trem2-/- mice are more resistant to growth of various cancers than wild-type mice and are more responsive to anti-PD-1 immunotherapy and treatment withAnti-TREM2 mAb curbed tumor growth and fostered regression when combined with anti- PD-1.
Journal ArticleDOI
E-Learning in a Mega Open University: Faculty Attitude, Barriers and Motivators.
Santosh Panda,Sanjaya Mishra +1 more
TL;DR: In the distance teaching institutions where e-learning initiatives are underway and where the planners and administrators grapple with effective adoption and deployment of technology-enabled education, faculty attitude and motivation assume considerable significance as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Innate Lymphoid Cells in Mucosal Immunity.
Santosh Panda,Marco Colonna +1 more
TL;DR: The state-of-the-art knowledge of ILC functions in infections, allergy and autoimmune disorders of the mucosal barriers is reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chitohexaose activates macrophages by alternate pathway through TLR4 and blocks endotoxemia
Santosh Panda,Sunil Kumar,Nitin Tupperwar,Tushar Vaidya,Anna George,Satyajit Rath,Vineeta Bal,Balachandran Ravindran +7 more
TL;DR: It is reported here that a filarial glycoprotein binds to murine macrophages and human monocytes through TLR4 and activates them through alternate pathway and in the process inhibits LPS mediated classical activation which leads to inflammation associated with endotoxemia.
