High-quality sandwiched black phosphorus heterostructure and its quantum oscillations
Xiaolong Chen,Yingying Wu,Zefei Wu,Yu Han,Shuigang Xu,Lin Wang,Weiguang Ye,Tianyi Han,Yuheng He,Yuan Cai,Ning Wang +10 more
TL;DR: The fabrication of stable sandwiched heterostructures by encapsulating atomically thin black phosphorus between hexagonal boron nitride layers to realize ultra-clean interfaces that allow a high field-effect mobility and ensure that the quality of black phosphorus remains high under ambient conditions.
Journal ArticleDOI
Achieving Ultrahigh Carrier Mobility in Two-Dimensional Hole Gas of Black Phosphorus.
Gen Long,D. Maryenko,Junying Shen,Shuigang Xu,Jianqiang Hou,Zefei Wu,Wing Ki Wong,Tianyi Han,Jiangxiazi Lin,Yuan Cai,Rolf Lortz,Ning Wang +11 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that a field-effect transistor (FET) made of few-layer black phosphorus encapsulated in hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) in vacuum exhibits a room-temperature hole mobility of 5200 cm2/(Vs), being limited just by the phonon scattering.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measuring Hall Viscosity of Graphene’s Electron Fluid
A. I. Berdyugin,Shuigang Xu,Francesco M. D. Pellegrino,Francesco M. D. Pellegrino,R. Krishna Kumar,Alessandro Principi,Iacopo Torre,M. Ben Shalom,T. Taniguchi,Kei Watanabe,Irina V. Grigorieva,Marco Polini,Marco Polini,Andre K. Geim,Denis A. Bandurin +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors found that the viscous electron fluid in graphene responds to nonquantizing magnetic fields by producing an electric field opposite to that generated by the ordinary Hall effect.
Journal ArticleDOI
Probing the electron states and metal-insulator transition mechanisms in molybdenum disulphide vertical heterostructures
Xiaolong Chen,Zefei Wu,Shuigang Xu,Lin Wang,Rui Huang,Yu Han,Weiguang Ye,Wei Xiong,Tianyi Han,Gen Long,Yang Wang,Yuheng He,Yuan Cai,Ping Sheng,Ning Wang +14 more
TL;DR: By combining capacitance and transport measurements, this work has observed a percolation-type metal-insulator transition, driven by density inhomogeneities of electron states, in monolayer and multilayer molybdenum disulphide.
Journal ArticleDOI
Oxygen‐Assisted Charge Transfer Between ZnO Quantum Dots and Graphene
TL;DR: Efficient charge transfer between ZnO quantum dots (QDs) and graphene is demonstrated by decorating ZNO QDs on top of graphene, with the assistance of oxygen molecules from the air.
