Analyze the group delay ripple of chirped fiber gratings using CWT

TL;DR: In this paper, the group delay ripple (GDRR) of the chirped fiber grating was measured along with the ripple period of the grating, and the cutoff phenomenon of the high frequency in the cutoff period was explained.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analogue of Fano resonance and electromagnetically induced transparency in a graphene strip-ring compact resonator

TL;DR: In this paper, a compact graphene strip-ring hybrid resonator working in the mid-infrared regime is proposed as an analogue of Fano resonator or electromagnetically induced transparency.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chirped Fiber Bragg Gratings for Optieal Fiber Dispersion Compensation

TL;DR: In this article, the use of power chirped fiber Bragg gratings for dispersion cancellation in an optical fiber link is discussed, and a numerical and theoretical investigation of recompressing the dispersion-broadened pulse by using?-power chirping gratings is made, which shows that, after 100 km standard fiber (with zero dispersion at?? =?1.3?m) transmission at??=? 1.55?m with initial width of TFWHM?=?33ps (full width at half maximum) can be perfectly recompressed
Proceedings ArticleDOI

Fabrication of high-reflectivity fiber Bragg gratings by excimer laser irradiated phase masks

TL;DR: In this paper, a near 100% peak reflectivity fiber Bragg grating was fabricated by 248 nm KrF excimer laser irradiated a B/Ge co-doped fiber through a zero-order mulled phase mask and the growth property of fiber gratings was monitored using white light source and optical spectrum analyzer during the gratings formation.
Journal ArticleDOI

High-birefringence fiber effects on transmitted pulses and mitigated by pulses’ reshaper

TL;DR: In this article, the transmission performance of Gaussian pulses over a high-birefringence fiber (HBF) has been studied and the result of simulation is consistent with that of the experiment.
