The Pan-STARRS1 Surveys

K. C. Chambers, +125 more
TL;DR: Pan-STARRS1 has carried out a set of distinct synoptic imaging sky surveys including the 3ππ$ Steradian Survey and the Medium Deep Survey in 5 bands as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Astrophysical parameters of Galactic open clusters

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented a catalogue of astrophysical data of 520 Galactic open clusters, for which at least three most probable members (18 on average) could be identified in the ASCC-2.5, based on the Tycho-2 observations from the Hipparcos mission.
Journal ArticleDOI

Pan-STARRS Photometric and Astrometric Calibration

TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the details of the photometric and astrometric calibration of the Pan-STARRS1 $3\pi$ Survey. The photometric goals were to reduce the systematic effects introduced by the camera and detectors, and to place all of the observations onto a photometric system with consistent zero points over the entire area surveyed, the ~30,000 square degrees north of $\delta$ = -30 degrees.
Journal ArticleDOI

Astrophysical supplements to the ASCC‐2.5: Ia. Radial velocities of ∼55000 stars and mean radial velocities of 516 Galactic open clusters and associations

TL;DR: The 2nd version of the Catalogue of Radial Velocities with Astrometric Data (CRVAD-2) as mentioned in this paper is the result of the cross-identification of stars from the All-Sky Compiled Catalogue 2.5 million stars (ASCC-2.5) with other recently published radial velocity lists and catalogues, which includes accurate J2000 equatorial coordinates, proper motions and trigonometric parallaxes in the Hipparcos system, spectral types, radial velocities (RVs), multiplicity and variability flags for 549
Journal ArticleDOI

PPM-Extended (PPMX) – a catalogue of positions and proper motions

TL;DR: The catalogue PPM-Extended (PPMX) as discussed by the authors consists of a survey complete down to RU = 12.8i n the magnitude system of UCAC2; additional stars of high-precision proper motions and all other stars from GSC 1.2 identified in 2MASS.
