Surface-induced vertical alignment of self-assembled supramolecular columns of large polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and porphyrins
Rainer Friedlein,Xavier Crispin,Wojciech Osikowicz,Slawomir Braun,M. P. de Jong,Christopher D. Simpson,Mark D. Watson,F. von Kieseritzky,Paolo Samorì,Stina Jönsson,Mats Fahlman,Frank Jäckel,Jürgen P. Rabe,Jonas Hellberg,Klaus Müllen,William R. Salaneck +15 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a vertical growth of self-assembled supramolecular columns perpendicular to the basal plane of the substrate along with their lateral ordering on the surface has been achieved.
Journal ArticleDOI
Doped Conjugated Polymer Enclosing a Redox Polymer: Wiring Polyquinones with Poly(3,4‐Ethylenedioxythiophene)
Fatima Nadia Ajjan,Ziyauddin Khan,Sergi Riera-Galindo,Samuel Lienemann,Mikhail Vagin,Ioannis Petsagkourakis,Roger Gabrielsson,Slawomir Braun,Mats Fahlman,Olle Inganäs,Magnus Berggren,Xavier Crispin +11 more
Journal ArticleDOI
The Effect of Oxygen Uptake on Charge Injection Barriers in Conjugated Polymer Films
Qinye Bao,Xianjie Liu,Slawomir Braun,Jianming Yang,Yan-Qing Li,Jian-Xin Tang,Chun-Gang Duan,Mats Fahlman +7 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the same behavior occurs when oxygen interacts with p-type polymer TQ1 films, indicating it is possible to be a universal effect for organic semiconductors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Self-assembled monolayer engineered interfaces: Energy level alignment tuning through chain length and end-group polarity
TL;DR: In this article, the authors explore the different mechanisms through which self-assembled monolayers can tailor energy level alignment at metal-organic semiconductor interfaces and show that the large work function variation that can be induced by the self-assembled monolayer on gold has limited ability to tailor the interface energy-level alignment of a subsequent organic semiconductor overlayer.
Journal ArticleDOI
Corrigendum: Semi-metallic polymers
Olga Bubnova,Zia Ullah Khan,Hui Wang,Slawomir Braun,Drew Evans,Manrico Fabretto,Pejman Hojati-Talemi,Daniel Dagnelund,Jean-Baptiste Arlin,Yves Geerts,Simon Desbief,Dag W. Breiby,Jens Wenzel Andreasen,Roberto Lazzaroni,Weimin Chen,Igor Zozoulenko,Mats Fahlman,Peter J. Murphy,Magnus Berggren,Xavier Crispin +19 more
TL;DR: In this article, the grazing incidence wide-angle X-ray scattering (GIWAXS) pattern shown in Fig. 2c was obtained for a contaminated thin-film sample.
