TL;DR: It is determined that heterozygous parents of AGS patients exhibit an intermediate autoimmune phenotype and a genetic association between rare RNASEH2 sequence variants and SLE is demonstrated and a role of DNA damage-associated pathways in the initiation of autoimmunity is suggested.
Journal ArticleDOI
Is MRI an adequate replacement for CT scans in the three-dimensional assessment of acetabular morphology?
Jens Goronzy,Sophia Blum,Albrecht Hartmann,Verena Plodeck,Lea Franken,Klaus-Peter Günther,Falk Thielemann +6 more
TL;DR: Modern MRI scans are equally applicable to assess the bony pelvis as CT scans as well as inter-observer reliability and would enable the examination of soft tissues such as chondrolabral structures and muscle in the same examination.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of response using FDG-PET/CT and diffusion weighted MRI after radiochemotherapy of pancreatic cancer: a non-randomized, monocentric phase II clinical trial-PaCa-DD-041 (Eudra-CT 2009-011968-11).
Carolin Zimmermann,Marius Distler,Christina Jentsch,Sophia Blum,Gunnar Folprecht,Klaus Zöphel,Heike Polster,Esther G.C. Troost,Nasreddin Abolmaali,Jürgen Weitz,Michael H. Baumann,Hans-Detlev Saeger,Robert Grützmann +12 more
TL;DR: Based on these limited patient numbers, it was possible to show that this trial design is feasible and that the neoadjuvant therapy regime was well tolerated and FDG-PET/CT may be a reliable method to evaluate response to the combined therapy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Acetabular- and femoral orientation after periacetabular osteotomy as a predictor for outcome and osteoarthritis.
Jens Goronzy,Lea Franken,Albrecht Hartmann,Falk Thielemann,Sophia Blum,Klaus-Peter Günther,Jörg Nowotny,Anne Postler +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a follow-up examination with 49 prospectively documented patients (66 hips) after periacetabular osteotomy (PAO) was performed after 62.2'±'18.6'months.
Journal ArticleDOI
Successful immunotherapy and irradiation in a HIV-positive patient with metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma
Annett Linge,Ricarda Rauschenberg,Ricarda Rauschenberg,Sophia Blum,Petra Spornraft-Ragaller,Friedegund Meier,Friedegund Meier,Esther G.C. Troost +7 more
TL;DR: First report on PD-L1 therapy and radiotherapy in a HIV positive patient with metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma and the patient has been in complete remission for one year to date.
