Classroom aeroallergen exposure in Arkansas head start centers.
Tamara T. Perry,Perla A. Vargas,Jeremy D. Bufford,Charles R. Feild,Michael Flick,Pippa Simpson,Robert G. Hamilton,Stacie M. Jones +7 more
TL;DR: Aeroallergens were commonly detected in Pulaski County HS center classrooms, with dog and mouse allergens detected in 100% of centers, and classroom characteristics were not strongly predictive of increased allergen exposure.
Journal ArticleDOI

Maria Suprun,Scott H. Sicherer,Robert A. Wood,Stacie M. Jones,Donald Y.M. Leung,Alice K. Henning,Peter Dawson,A. Wesley Burks,Robert Lindblad,Robert C. Getts,Mayte Suárez-Fariñas,Hugh A. Sampson +11 more
TL;DR: Machine learning algorithms were developed to identify a combination of antigen- and epitope-specific antibodies that using 3-15-month or 2-3-year samples can predict allergy status at 4+ years.
Journal ArticleDOI

TL;DR: Findings from the landmark Learning Early About Peanut Allergy (LEAP) study showed that early introduction of peanut-containing foods to infants at high risk of developing peanut allergy was safe and led to an 81 percent relative reduction in the subsequent development of peanut allergy.
Journal ArticleDOI
An update on immunotherapy for food allergy.
Amy M. Scurlock,Stacie M. Jones +1 more
TL;DR: Novel immunotherapeutic interventions for the active treatment of food allergy are explored and there is still significant risk of adverse reactions associated with these therapeutic strategies and further study is needed to carefully advance these therapeutic modalities toward general clinical implementation.
Journal ArticleDOI
