Journal ArticleDOI
Alma observations of hcn and its isotopologues on titan
Edward Molter,Conor A. Nixon,Martin A. Cordiner,Joseph Serigano,Patrick G. J. Irwin,Nicholas A Teanby,Steven B. Charnley,Johan E. Lindberg +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented sub-millimeter spectra of HCN isotopologues on Titan, derived from publicly available ALMA flux calibration observations of Titan taken in early 2014.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chemical complexity induced by efficient ice evaporation in the Barnard 5 molecular cloud
Vianney Taquet,Eva Wirström,Steven B. Charnley,Alexandre Faure,Alexandre Faure,Ana López-Sepulcre,Carina M. Persson +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present the detection of the complex organic molecules (COMs) acetaldehyde (CH3CHO) and methyl formate (CH 3OCHO), as well as formic acid (HCOOH) and ketene (CH2CO) towards the "methanol hotspot" of Barnard 5 located between two dense cores using the single dish OSO 20 m, IRAM 30 m, and NRO 45 m telescopes.

Chemical complexity induced by efficient ice evaporation in the Barnard 5 molecular cloud
Vianney Taquet,Eva Wirström,Steven B. Charnley,Alexandre Faure,Alexandre Faure,Ana López-Sepulcre,Carina M. Persson +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the presence of complex organic molecules (COMs) in a cold dark cloud, Barnard 5 located in the Perseus complex, by targeting methanol peaks as signposts for ice mantle evaporation.
Journal ArticleDOI
The Detection of Hot Cores and Complex Organic Molecules in the Large Magellanic Cloud
Marta Sewilo,Remy Indebetouw,Remy Indebetouw,Steven B. Charnley,Sarolta Zahorecz,Sarolta Zahorecz,Joana M. Oliveira,Jacco Th. van Loon,Jacob L. Ward,C.-H. Rosie Chen,Jennifer Wiseman,Yasuo Fukui,Akiko Kawamura,Margaret Meixner,Toshikazu Onishi,Peter Schilke +15 more
TL;DR: In this article, the first extragalactic detection of the complex organic molecules (COMs) dimethyl ether (CH3OCH3) and methyl formate (CH 3OCHO) with the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) was reported.
