Attribution of 12 High-Risk Human Papillomavirus Genotypes to Infection and Cervical Disease
Elmar A. Joura,Kevin A. Ault,F. Xavier Bosch,Darron R. Brown,Jack Cuzick,Daron G. Ferris,Suzanne M. Garland,Anna R. Giuliano,Mauricio Hernández-Ávila,Warner K. Huh,Ole Erik Iversen,Susanne K. Kjaer,Joaquín Luna,Dianne Miller,Joseph Monsonego,Nubia Muñoz,Evan R. Myers,Jorma Paavonen,Punnee Pitisuttithum,Marc Steben,Cosette M. Wheeler,Gonzalo Perez,Gonzalo Perez,Alfred J. Saah,Alain Luxembourg,Heather L. Sings,Christine Velicer +26 more
TL;DR: If 9-valent HPV vaccination programs are effectively implemented, the majority of CIN2 and CIN3 lesions worldwide could be prevented, in addition to approximately one-half of Cin1.
Journal ArticleDOI
CA125 expression pattern, prognosis and correlation with serum CA125 in ovarian tumor patients: From The Danish “MALOVA” Ovarian Cancer Study
Estrid Høgdall,Lise Christensen,Susanne K. Kjaer,Jan Blaakær,Anette Kjaerbye-Thygesen,Simon A. Gayther,Ian Jacobs,Claus Høgdall +7 more
TL;DR: The finding that tissue CA125 expression was lacking in late stage primary OC tumor of Danish women with poor survival may be of value in selecting patients as eligible candidates for individually based treatments.
Journal ArticleDOI
Depth of cervical cone removed by loop electrosurgical excision procedure and subsequent risk of spontaneous preterm delivery.
TL;DR: Investigating the association between cone depth of the loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) of the cervix and subsequent risk of spontaneous preterm delivery found increasing cone depth is directly associated with an increasing risk of pre term delivery, even after adjustment for several confounding factors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Distribution of HER-2 overexpression in ovarian carcinoma tissue and its prognostic value in patients with ovarian carcinoma: from the Danish MALOVA Ovarian Cancer Study.
Estrid Høgdall,Lise Christensen,Susanne K. Kjaer,Jan Blaakær,Johannes E. Bock,Eva Glud,Bent Nørgaard-Pedersen,Claus Høgdall +7 more
TL;DR: The objective of the current study was to investigate the value of HER‐2 overexpression as a prognostic marker in OC and to compare this value with the prognostic value of other biochemical markers.
Journal ArticleDOI
Papillary tubal hyperplasia: the putative precursor of ovarian atypical proliferative (borderline) serous tumors, noninvasive implants, and endosalpingiosis
Robert J. Kurman,Russell Vang,Jette Junge,Charlotte Gerd Hannibal,Susanne K. Kjaer,Ie Ming Shih +5 more
TL;DR: A model for the development of ovarian and extraovarian low-grade serous proliferations (APST, noninvasive epithelial implants, and endosalpingiosis) is proposed that postulates that all of these lesions are derived from PTH, which appears to be induced by chronic inflammation.
