Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluation of quadrivalent HPV 6/11/16/18 vaccine efficacy against cervical and anogenital disease in subjects with serological evidence of prior vaccine type HPV infection.

TL;DR: It is suggested that natural HPV infection-elicited antibodies may not provide complete protection over time, however the immune response to the HPV 6/11/16/18 vaccine appears to prevent reinfection or reactivation of disease with vaccine HPV types.
Journal ArticleDOI

The Absolute Risk of Cervical Abnormalities in High-risk Human Papillomavirus–Positive, Cytologically Normal Women Over a 10-Year Period

TL;DR: The results indicate that even a single positive HPV test in cytologically negative women is substantially predictive of high-grade CIN and suggest that HC2 testing can help stratify women into different risk categories.
Journal ArticleDOI

Human papillomavirus—the most significant risk determinant of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia

TL;DR: Cervical HPV infection was by far the most significant risk factor for cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions and the importance of the previously identified epidemiological risk factors for cervical neoplasia was also demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Social inequality in incidence of and survival from cancer in a population-based study in Denmark, 1994-2003: Summary of findings.

TL;DR: Social inequality in the prognosis of most cancers was observed, despite the equal access to health care in Denmark, with poorer relative survival related to fewer advantages, regardless of how they were measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

Risk factors for genital HPV DNA in men resemble those found in women: a study of male attendees at a Danish STD clinic.

TL;DR: Most risk factors for HPV DNA detection in men resemble those found in women, including whether there are different risk profiles for oncogenic and non-oncogenic HPV types.
