Clinical utility of circulating tumor DNA sequencing in advanced gastrointestinal cancer: SCRUM-Japan GI-SCREEN and GOZILA studies.
Yoshiaki Nakamura,Hiroya Taniguchi,Masafumi Ikeda,Hideaki Bando,Ken Kato,Chigusa Morizane,Taito Esaki,Yoshito Komatsu,Yasuyuki Kawamoto,Naoki Takahashi,Makoto Ueno,Yoshinori Kagawa,Tomohiro Nishina,Takeshi Kato,Yoshiyuki Yamamoto,Junji Furuse,Tadamichi Denda,Hisato Kawakami,Eiji Oki,Takako Nakajima,Naohiro Nishida,Kensei Yamaguchi,Hisateru Yasui,Masahiro Goto,Nobuhisa Matsuhashi,Koushiro Ohtsubo,Kentaro Yamazaki,Akihito Tsuji,Wataru Okamoto,Katsuya Tsuchihara,Takeharu Yamanaka,Izumi Miki,Yasutoshi Sakamoto,Hiroko Ichiki,Masayuki Hata,Riu Yamashita,Atsushi Ohtsu,Justin I. Odegaard,Takayuki Yoshino +38 more
TL;DR: An observational study on a large cohort of patients with gastrointestinal cancer demonstrates the utility of ctDNA analysis for accelerating the enrollment of patients in clinical trials with no accompanying deterioration in treatment efficacy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magneto-optical Kerr effects of yttrium-iron garnet thin films incorporating gold nanoparticles
TL;DR: The anomalous Kerr rotation indicates a possible coupling between the MO Kerr effect of YIG and the SPP, and a mechanism for the coupling is discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Randomised phase III trial of adjuvant chemotherapy with oral uracil and tegafur plus leucovorin versus intravenous fluorouracil and levofolinate in patients with stage III colorectal cancer who have undergone Japanese D2/D3 lymph node dissection: final results of JCOG0205.
Yasuhiro Shimada,Tetsuya Hamaguchi,J. Mizusawa,Norio Saito,Yukihide Kanemitsu,Nobuhiro Takiguchi,Masayuki Ohue,Takeshi Kato,Yasumasa Takii,Toshihiko Sato,Naohiro Tomita,Shigeki Yamaguchi,Makoto Akaike,Hideyuki Mishima,Yoshiro Kubo,Kenichi Nakamura,Haruhiko Fukuda,Yoshihiro Moriya +17 more
TL;DR: Adjuvant UFT/LV is non-inferior to standard 5-FU/l-LV with respect to DFS, and should be an oral treatment option for patients with stage III colorectal cancer who have undergone Japanese D2/D3 lymph node dissection.
Journal ArticleDOI
Modified XELIRI (capecitabine plus irinotecan) versus FOLFIRI (leucovorin, fluorouracil, and irinotecan), both either with or without bevacizumab, as second-line therapy for metastatic colorectal cancer (AXEPT): a multicentre, open-label, randomised, non-inferiority, phase 3 trial
Rui-Hua Xu,Kei Muro,Satoshi Morita,Satoru Iwasa,Sae-Won Han,Wei Wang,Masahito Kotaka,Masato Nakamura,Joong Bae Ahn,Yan Hong Deng,Takeshi Kato,Sang-Hee Cho,Yi Ba,Hiroshi Matsuoka,Keun Wook Lee,Tao Zhang,Yasuhide Yamada,Junichi Sakamoto,Young Suk Park,Tae Won Kim +19 more
TL;DR: The efficacy and safety of the mXELIRI regimen with that of standard FOLFIRI, with or without bevacizumab in both regimens, as a second-line therapy for metastatic colorectal cancer was compared.
Journal ArticleDOI
Spin-orbit torques in ferrimagnetic GdFeCo alloys
Niklas Roschewsky,Tomoya Matsumura,Suraj Cheema,Frances Hellman,Frances Hellman,Takeshi Kato,Satoshi Iwata,Sayeef Salahuddin,Sayeef Salahuddin +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the spin-orbit torque driven magnetization switching was studied for both transition metal (TM)-rich and rare earth (RE)-rich configurations, and it was shown that the sign of the spinorbit-torque-driven magnetic switching follows the total magnetization.
