Mode-locked Tm,Ho:KLu(WO(4))(2) laser at 2060 nm using InGaSb-based SESAMs.

TL;DR: Passive mode-locking of a Tm,Ho:KLu(WO(4))(2) laser operating at 2060 nm using different designs of InGaAsSb quantum-well based semiconductor saturable absorber mirrors (SESAMs) is demonstrated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectroscopy and efficient laser operation near 1.95μm of Tm3+ in disordered NaLu(WO4)2

TL;DR: In this paper, continuous wave and tunable laser operation at room temperature with single crystals of Tm-doped NaLu(WO4)2 has been demonstrated with a Ti:sapphire laser pumping and tuning by an intracavity Lyot filter, the Tm3+ emission extended from 1799to2026nm.
Journal ArticleDOI

99 fs Nd:Glass Laser Mode-Locked with Carbon Nanotube Saturable Absorber Mirror

TL;DR: In this article, the mode-locked operation of Nd:silicate glass with both single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs-SAM) and semiconductor saturable absorber mirrors (SESAMs) has been investigated.
