TL;DR: It is concluded that ischemic stroke is associated with marked acute and long-duration increases of ET-1 and ANP and there was no correlation between the ANP plasma values and the neurologic status, the site or mechanism of the stroke, or the plasmaET-1 levels.

TL;DR: Convalescent plasma could be superior to standard of care in avoiding progression to mechanical ventilation or death in hospitalized patients with COVID-19, but the strong dependence of results on a limited number of events in the control group prevents drawing firm conclusions about CP efficacy.
