Journal ArticleDOI

Repression of BET activity sensitizes homologous recombination-proficient cancers to PARP inhibition.

TL;DR: The authors found that BET inhibitors suppress homologous recombination, inducing the functional defect that sensitizes tumors to PARP inhibitors, and found that inhibition or depletion of BET proteins impairs transcription of BRCA1 and RAD51, two genes essential for HR.
Journal ArticleDOI

Infiltrating Macrophages Induce ERα Expression Through an IL17A-mediated Epigenetic Mechanism to Sensitize Endometrial Cancer Cells to Estrogen

TL;DR: Findings show how cytokines produced by infiltrating macrophages in the endometrial microenvironment can induce epigenetic upregulation of ERα expression, which in turn sensitizesendometrial cells to estrogen stimulation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Treatment efficiency of comprehensive hysteroscopic evaluation and lesion resection combined with progestin therapy in young women with endometrial atypical hyperplasia and endometrial cancer

TL;DR: Comprehensive hysteroscopic evaluation and lesion resection plus progestin therapy seem to be an effective and safe fertility sparing therapy for patients with EAH or EEC who wished to preserve their fertility.
